Almost every project that comes through our door has to pass through the Production Art department, and as “gatekeeper” that means Ashley sees it first. While he’s a man of formidable stature and quiet demeanor, we all know him as a big teddy-bear. Ashley makes sure all production requests are correctly entered and then assigns them out to his team of sign artisans. They, in turn, are responsible for setting up the production files to ensure all departments have exactly what they need to get the job done right!

7. Outside of helping clients get the best signs ever, what do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy boating, kayaking and traveling to see new places.
8. What travel accessory could you not do without?
I couldn’t manage without my phone (because it has the navigation app) or my earbuds.
9. What is your favorite TV show or movie?
I don’t have a favorite, but I like action and comedy movies.
10. What does a normal day as the Production Art Lead look like?
I begin my day by printing out the work orders and organizing them on our production to-do wall. I then print out vinyl’s production planner and check to see what is needed and which (if any) are a priority. We have a daily production meeting and then afterwards I assist my team, however is needed.
