While Tina may be a rookie member of the HOTELSIGNS.com team (having recently celebrated her one year anniversary), she is certainly a veteran when it comes to her experience in Human Resources! Tina’s role as the HR Director means she oversees all things employee-related, from onboarding the best and brightest staff to implementing company-improving policies. Tina is an expert in navigating office dynamics and helping to keep everything running smoothly.

1. Where are you originally from, and where do you live now?

I am originally from Nebraska! However, 16 years ago I moved to Cleveland, Tennessee.

2. How long have you been in the sign industry and/or with HOTELSIGNS.com?

I’ve been in the sign industry for a little over a year (this is my first sign gig) and I love it!

3. What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is the people – I love getting to know people and hear their stories. I also really enjoy helping other sign artisans resolve issues, being someone to listen and provide guidance, and helping others be successful. Basically all of the people stuff!

4. What’s something you’ve learned since being in the industry?

What I’ve learned is how complex signs are and that you don’t have any understanding of that until you work here and see all of the processes a sign goes through to get to completion.

5. If you had unlimited money and could go anywhere, where would you go and why?

If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to China. I would love to explore all of the history there and really immerse myself in the culture.

6. Outside of helping clients get the best signs ever, what do you enjoy doing?

What I enjoy most is being with my family. There is nothing more satisfying to me than watching my adult children enjoy spending time with one another. To have them all together, playing and laughing, that’s the best!

7. What travel accessory can you not do without?

Whenever I travel I always want a good book (or two) to bring along with me.

8. What’s your favorite travel destination?

My favorite travel destination is anywhere that there’s something historical. I love to see the places where historical things happened and learn the story behind it.
